Mrs. Haydee Kirwan holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. She has been married to her better half, Steve, for almost 23 years. They have two boys, a Junior and a 4th grader, who they have been homeschooling for 11 years.
Teaching Spanish and sharing the rich cultural heritage of Spanish speaking countries is one of her greatest passions. Born and raised in México, she loves its culture and traditions. Her dad instilled his love of traveling in her when she was very young. After college she moved to Tucson, AZ to continue her graduate studies in Electrical Engineering and later took an engineering job with GTE. This allowed her to travel to Argentina. Soon after, she found herself traveling and working in Spain and Portugal, where she also learned Portuguese.
All of this explains her deep appreciation for the rich cultures and the people of Latin America, Spain and Portugal. This taught her a real appreciation for immersion to learn a new language. She now incorporates this into her Spanish classes.
Mrs. Julie Crawford holds a B.S. in Nutrition Science from The University of Georgia and was previously employed in both clinical and public health settings, providing nutrition and health education. She has been actively teaching and leading in the homeschool arena for over twenty years, teaching her own three children at home and also working as a co-op director in the Winter Springs area. In 2011, she developed the curriculum and created the online classroom for a freshman Humanities class, which encompassed instruction in English I Honors, United States History Honors, and Bible. She continued to teach this course for the next seven years until 2018.
In the past couple of years, she has continued to develop curriculum and teach in the home for her youngest child and a few companion students. She is also enjoying partnering in ministry with her husband Brad, who is the Director of Baptist Collegiate Ministries at the University of Central Florida.

R. Anthony Cota Jr. was born and raised in Florida. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BA in Journalism. Shortly thereafter he met his wife and they have enjoyed the best 23 years so far! They have 2 children they homeschool and 2 at UCF.
Anthony believes that spending 10 minutes with the Lord daily in the classroom of silence will change your life forever in ways you could never imagine. He works in sales for a global spirits and wine producer, but his real joy is spending time with family.
If he could be anywhere in the world it would be sipping a café in one of Italy’s famous squares, then taking a stroll experiencing all the art, culture and cathedrals that adorn the country. If he is staying local in the US, then he would spend a week at the beach digging sand castles and body surfing with family.
His Master said to him, "Well done my good and faithful servant, you have been trustworthy in a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master." Matthew 25:21
